In the past month I have worked out the QB's a total of six times during the week and on Sundays. Both Nate Whipkey and Kendrik Reed have shown amazing progress on their skill developments. Added to this both of them have been training five days a week in our strength and speed/agility programs, it is easily a position that is going to be a strength for our program. For the QB to lead the program they must first demonstrate a great knowledge for the position, and for the entire team wether it be lifting weights or running a play. So far both Nate and Kendrik really get it and are an example to the entire team of the commitment it takes to be GREAT! It is for this effort Nate Whipkey and Kendrik Reed have been named this week's McGuffey Highlander Football Players of the Week.
