$59 million stadium
If you think high school football is big in Western Pennsylvania, it is nothing compared to Texas. Here is an example: Work on a new stadium at Allen High School in Texas is moving along and should be completed by the start of the season. The cost of the new stadium is $59.6 million.
According to Michael Brick of The Daily in Texas, the stadium will have a 79-foot wide scoreboard with an HD video screen that measures 42 by 27 feet. The stadium will seat 18,000.

The Allen school district, however, made more than $4 million in budget cuts in education last year.
